I installed the plug in no issues and was able to throw in an octane render network in shop and get to the rendering windows however my scene shows up without the textures, just some pink/purple looking color on everything. What part am I missing here?

Hi,

A pink surface means that the object doesn't have any material assigned, or it doesn't have a valid Octane shader. Check the docs, they have a brief tutorial about how the plugin works.
