New to the forum. Just wondering if the Octane plugIn can be used in modeler. Sent an email to NewTek. Their response was talked with Octane and their forum. NewTek is not very helpful on this subject.

Hi,

Octane is a Layout plugin, linked to the Layout external renderers architecture. You can't render in the Modeler, but of course all the Octane information and material nodes are available in the Modeler to don't destroy the object materials while working with them.

Thanks for the quick response. Just by the Newtek response I was pretty sure Octane would not work with modeler.
