Displacement Still showing polygons through

I'm using a megascan 8k x 8k on a sphere that has been unwrapped and has 200 polygons. I'm still getting the polygons bleeding through for some reason. The octane displacement node is on 4k. I'm not sure whats going on here.
side question does it really have to be UV unwrapped?
