Plugin for max vs c4d

Hi all

I have been using Octnae for 3ds max for more than a month now, and i was just wondering will we ever get a 3ds max plugin that functions as good as the one for c4d or maya, i appreciate all the efforts of the development team but its really frustrating at sometimes , the native lighting system is very primitive, i cant hide lights or use textures or affect specular or reflections , i feel like i have to use so many tricks to get the job done and the other solutions are not good for every situation, and thats just one aspect am facing , is there will be any updates any plans.

Hi Asolyman,
About use texture maps, I asked developers to add this feature in 3dsMax OctaneLight to improve workflow.
You can still make this using an object with:
Diffuse material > emission slot> emission texture node.
Around the other options you say, are not possible in any plugin or standalone.

3.0 integration is not working at all, I recommend to use 2.26.1
