motion blur

hi,
not sure, if this is a bug or if it's me failing to do things properly, so i'd rather not post this issue in the bugs-section yet:
here's a simple x-particle setup, falling spheres, which is using cache. pls deactivate cache or generate an own one, mine is 450mb big, not worthy uploading it imo:
http://www.mesutcapkin.com/temp/motionblur_test_01.c4d
my problem is:
as soon as i activate motion blur (which is the current state of the scene), only the background, which is a rgb-color in the environment object, is being rendered in the picture viewer.
everything else - a floor object and obviously the particles - are not being rendered.
deactivating motion blur leads to normal rendering - without mb that is.
what am i doing wrong here?
edit: i am using the most recent versions of everything except for octane standalone, which is 3.05.1, due to the fact, that the c4d-plug-in is made for 3.05.1 and not the most recent 3.05.2
edit2: just realized that it's not bound to x-particles but also happens with just spheres falling down via mograph dynamics, so i corrected the title of this post.
