Octane Materials in C4D have a few bugs

Hi,
I'm running C4d r18, with latest patch in Mac. I have noticed several issues:

1. Some of the tabs for the material are missing (for example emission)
a workaround is you double click the material until you get a pop up window where tabs are not used.

2. If you add a texture (say RGB spectrum) through the texture tab it adds the texture in the node editor but it's unlinked. (I tried with two different shaders here)

3. Dunno if this is as expected or not but it would help if when you click on the node editor button inside the material the node editor window appears. (now it does not)

cheers

Hi frankie,
sorry but "with latest patch in Mac" is not enough, and nothing of what you describe is reproducible here.
Please follow the instructions about bug report posting:
Before posting a bug report, please check the following:
1. That the issue has not already been disclosed
2. That the issue is specific to this plugin, and not Octane in general (Try reproducing it in Standalone)
Bugs related to the Octane Engine itself should be posted into the Standalone Support sub-forum.

All bug reports should include the information below, along with a detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce it.
A. Operating System, including version (i.e. Win 7, OSX 10.11.2, Ubuntu 14.04, etc.)
B. Graphics Card(s) model (i.e. GTX 580 - 3GB, TITAN, etc.)
C. RAM Capacity (i.e. 6 GB)
D. Nvidia driver version (i.e. 7.50, 7.5.22)
E. OctaneRender Standalone version, if installed (i.e. 2.24.2, 2.23, etc.)
F. OctaneRender plugin version (i.e. v2.25 - 2.21)
G. Host application version, including build number if available (i.e. 3ds Max 2016 Build 18.0)
And please, try again with the latest version that you can always find on top of this section:

All the best,
ciao beppe

Please post a picture shot from your c4doctane folder's content. I'm not sure you installed correct files. Also post a photo of Script->Console and LV->Help->Octane log. Let's see which dll is loaded and any error messages.

Please make a zip of your "RES" folder in c4doctane and put here. Alternatively try to use windows version's RES folder. Let's see what happens.
