Displacement mapping with other shaders

Hi, how come, displacement mapping only works with the image texture node? It would be nice to use other nodes as well, for instance combining image texture with dirt map og other fall offs or color correction nodes?

Sorry, this is a known limitation in Octane currently. The displacement only can work from the texture image nodes, and over objects with a valid UV map.

Ok, thanks Juan, I thought so, just wanted to make sure I wasn't limiting my self, by perhaps overlooking somesort of utility/adaptor node.
