Glitch? Diffuse Channel loading as Grey sacle, not RGB image

Some characters load with the diffuse channel set to greyscale image. Changing it back to RGB image fixes it.
R2.25.0 16
Same thing with latest V3 plug.
Latest NVidia driver.
Any ideas? Same thing in standalone also.

Which version did you install as the "latest V3 plug" pls? Can you provide some screenshots of the materials that you are having problems with? Or you sure it's not a template problem where you have the diffuse pin set to a Greyscale Image?

The V3, sorry was the demo, but I am using last update to V2 Plugin. Still same. Only certain characters load with greyscale nodes instead of RGB image node. Attached are screen shots.

I fixed an issue related to this is the current Octane 3 version of the plugin (I don't think it's in the Demo version yet though) - so pls try the current TEST or STABLE release to see if it is fixed there.
