Hello Masters,
I tested 2 version and V 3.02-3.17 faster than V 3.04-26. Also I tried to add more poly to V 3.04-26 ( High poly Lemon ), V 3.04-26 crashed. But I could add more poly to V 3.02-3.17 ( one more lemon

), never crashed and still faster than newer version. Maybe 3 min diffrences noting but I work high resolition and 40000 sample. At least will be 1 hour diffrence. So my point is that I want to use newer verison of octane but updates suppose to be beter, not lower.

2 X GTX 780 ti

Hi there,
Just a quick note on Your issue. As program become more & more complex, code gets more complicated & that sometimes leads to increased rendertime. Optimisations might be made later, but it's inevitable to see variation no variation in speed. I would not take that too seriously as with upcoming build that might change.
I guess the most important thing is overall stability that would keep You safe from ugly surprises when in the morning or after few hours of rendering You find Your render failed..in this case that 10% lower speed migh be less damaging.

- this issue is going to keep on appearing, getting slower with new features
- one workaround for the developers could be to develop a basic/intermedia/latest core, which would work like basic - fastest without everything working etc..
- like when you don't need alpha channel, shadowcatchers or no need to hide objects or no scatterin volume and stuff like that.. might be a lot of work but we might very much appreciate it, and that would be a "thinking outside the box" approach
- this way at least you could have a fallback to the latest stable version, or something, as development of this software is pretty painfull for developers and us users testing out constantly - OK we all learn something new from the process, but you don't want to learn new stuff when you have a deadline tomorrow, and want it to work in any means possible..
