Is there a way to search the Live DB

in Standalone? I'm used to searching in the plugin (it has a Material Search feature) and I was wondering if there's a way to search in the Live DB tab of the scene outliner?

I always missed that feature, too
What would come in handy, IMO at least, would be to have the DB look like a spreadsheet/table, like we have with MS Excel.
There we could have columns for upload date, maybe if there're image maps included, for what version of OR the material was created or optimized, etc ..
As much as I truly appreciate the DB, it's sometimes really kind of hard to find something.
