installing octaneVR in cinema 4d r17

Seem to be having a problem installing octane for C4D even after following all the steps. It doesn't seem to come up in the menu. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Attached is the folder structure.

yeah I have 0.055 which is even newer than the recommended .053

oops forgot to update cuda driver like a dumb dumb.

hmm still no luck. it now says There is no CUDA device which is supported by Octane render (when I send my scene). I'm surprised, I have a pretty beefy MBP with Intel Iris Pro 1536 MB video card. is that not supported?

Hi wutronic,
Intel Iris Pro is not an Nvidia CUDA capable GPU, so you cannot execute OctaneRender on your MBP right now.
Only the Blender plugin can be executed without an Nvidia GPU on board by using the GPUs in your LAN:

In the future, this feature will be added to all the OctaneRender versions, but for now, you have to look at an eGPU solution via Thunderbolt:
