Motion blur-motion vector-render speed

Hi,

I want to render animation without motion blur and add motion blur by motion vector in Ae. If I disable motion blur in render settings, motion vector is grey (is not calculated). If I enable it, motion vector is ok and beauty pass is without motion blur. But rendering speed is the same like with normal motion blur.

So my question is?
Is possible to get motion vector pass but keep same render speed like without motion blur?
If yes, How can I setup it?

Thank you for reply

Jan

Hi jan Kudelasek,
you could set the kernel to a minimum sample
and activate info passes and set it to the max sample you want.

Hi Paride.

thank you very for your advice.

In every render engines, motion vector is calculated with motion blur unchecked. So there is no way render all passes together in Octane. It´s look like another nonsense by Otoy. :(

Could it operate normally in the future? Because this is very odd. This is next reason why not choose Octane as production renderer.

Thank you for reply.

Hi jan Kudelasek,
I found an anomaly in the motion vector yesterday.
I sent the issue to the developers in order to fix the problem.
