I am trying to create a simple class jar but I can't work out how to get rid of the unwanted distortion :( Looks like it is full with water which I don't want.

The material is a simple specular with 1.5 index and 100% opacity. Anything else that I'm missing?

Cheers

I have managed to fix the problem. I gave the jar a small extrude of 0.1 and it has worked a treat :D

Hi BofC,
perfect that you have found the solution :)
Remember that Octane is based on physic, so if your glass have no depth, it reacts as it is full of glass giving you the magnify effect.
Happy rendering :)
