No more alpha with render layers?

I swear it did it before with render layers, but now I cant get an alpha with my render layers? Even if I save it as a png....
Also, is there any way to get an alpha with the reflections. So JUST the reflections are on there and not everything else? I dont get what the point is to just render a reflection layer, when I have to clip it out anyways...

I'm sorry - but I don't don't the answers to these questions. I suggest asking them in the 3.04.4 Standalone thread.

You have to enable the alpha channel in the kernel settings.

The reflection layer needs to be added to the background. As an alternative, you can enable the option "Affect alpha" in transparent specular materials. If you do that, the transmission of the specular material will behave as if opacity is 0.
