sometimes, a scene closes itself when i stop a render. Someone know if it's Octane fault? I can't reproduce it.

Thank god, somebody else. I have the same issue - and I've had it for months now. I've been surviving with the auto backup in c4d every 5 minutes - and I don't know how to replicate.
R16, win7

Phew been thinking I've been going bonkers as well with this bug.

Can confirm this happens on OS X R15 as well.

How do you know this is a bug and about octane?

I am guessing. Can't say it's Octanes fault! I don't have it often

Ok please let me know if you have somethings more reliable. We need much more info to check issues.

I cannot find anything in console or in windows. Yesterday I've rendered a big file, render was finished. Then I made a new file with just a cube (to test something about multipass), rendered it out and suddenly, the big file was closed.
Could be anything, there is nothing in the console, nothing in windows protocol.

Not important to have any outputs. Better is that should be reproducible by spesific ways and scenes. There could be several reasons as some big memory leaks or a crash.

I also had this problem. Big relief to hear it wasn't just me.. Could it be an overall Cinema problem? I pretty much use Octane in every scene I'm working on so hard to to determine and hard to seperate a c4d issue from Octane..

I thought i was loosing my mind and forgetting to save files before closing!

me too!

mostly when playing around with the RealFlow Demo in my case.
Don't think, thats from Octane side, but I've had this behavior as well
during the last weeks. Just to be said.
