Maya® Version Requirements

This release will work with Maya® Version 2017 64-bit on OSX operating systems (including and above 10.9).

COMPATIBILITY AND OCTANERENDER STANDALONE REQUIREMENT

To run OctaneRender™ for Maya®, you need to also have an activated OctaneRender™ Standalone copy activated on the machine you wish to install the plugin onto.
You cannot purchase and use only the Maya plugin and use it without also owning an activated copy of OctaneRender™ Standalone on your machine.

CHANGES SINCE THE PREVIOUS VERSION

• Implemented motion blur for "Reshapable" hair nodes.

Installation:
- Just run the autoinstaller file.

Thanks for this version. I can use Maya 2017 now ... shhhweet!!!

Slave rendering issue :

Updated my PC slaves to standalone 2.26.1and same slave daemons etc.
Running 2.26.1 Standalone on my Mac OS X it works but does not sync with slaves that show up.
Running this plugin for Maya 2017 on my mac... it also works with local cards but says there is an incompatible version error 2.26.1

The PC slaves show up but give an incompatible version 2,26.1 error

I removed any other older versions of the standalone from my mac and 2017 Maya only works with this vers. of the plugin. Not sure there is this error.

I have restarted all machines after removal of old and new instals.

IF I use the PC version of the maya plugin on a diff PC I do not get error with the same PC slaves that error with the Mac.

Anything hidden on the Mac that I may need to remove???
