Object Tag behaviour

Hey guys… just a question about the behaviour of the Octane ObjectTag… I've placed the ObjectTag on the parent of a hierarchy and turned off camera visibility … However, I want a child within that hierarchy to remain visible to camera. Usually in Cinema, I would apply another Compositing tag to that child object and leave seen by camera on, which works, but it seems that the Octane ObjectTag doesn't replicate that behaviour. Any child object within a hierarchy remains invisible to the camera even though it has its own ObjectTag with visibility on… So the parent tag overwrites the tag placed on the child object…

So I guess my question is… Is this correct behaviour, and is there a way to keep a child object visible to camera whilst the parent is invisible? At the moment I'm creating a completely transparent material and applying it to the parent object…

It works on hierarchical order. So effect will be transferred to below objects. You can add another tag to a sub object and it will overwrite incoming parameters from top tag. And sub objects under second tag will be affected from new tag.

Thanks aoktar… it must be something to do with my particular hierarchy and object setup… when I place the tag on the child object itself (in this case a plane with deformers applied), it doesn't work as you describe (and as you would expect), but when I place the ObjectTag further up the hierarchy on a null object container things work fine…

Thanks
