Adding a new card to my rig: VRAM question

Hello,
At the moment I have 3 Titan X Maxwell under full water cooling. I have the opportunity to buy a Titan Z, what do you think about: Better way to add one more Titan X or add this Titan Z with 6 Gb by GPU ? It's the opportunity to add more than 5000 cuda core in one shot :)
I know that is not the same architecture and the difference between 12 and 6 Gb of vram, I will lost the benefits of max vram for texture...

And if I add a simple 980Ti, I will lost the benefits of the 12Gb of my TitanX, right?

My Asus X99 WS mother card can drive 7 PCI-E, I can add 3 more cards with DIY case and risers... in the future, when the used TX will be available at a really good price.

Thanks

FYI: 5960X / 128 Gb / 2 SSD / win10 64 / C4D 16

Hi Sodapop,
I personally would recommend a 980ti instead of titanZ.
same cards (Maxwell), reduced power consumption and heating.
Using them together lose 6gb, but it depends on how much work you do with more than 6GB.
You could use 980ti for monitors and windows, and turn it on for final render when using less than 6Gb.
At this point I would buy a 1080 or 1070 with 8gb: high computing power, low power consumption and temperature, and a good compromise with the 8gb.

Thanks for your feedback, so it's easyy to find a used 980Ti... I prefere wait and find a other Titan X (450 €), more easy for me, only one architecture, one ram quantity.
My question about the Titan Z is about the large quantity of Cuda core with only one PCI-E slot but dificult to find a waterblock...

Hi Sodapop,
I'd do the same thing you said.
