Mac: Using Octane only with network GPUs

Hi there,

It it possible to use Octane standalone (Mac) and Octane Modo plugin (Mac) only with network GPUs from a GPU server (Win) and without internal GPU on a Mac and without Nvidia drivers on a Mac?
The reason why I ask is the problem with driver updates, eGPU install script incompatibility after system updates and things like this.

Hi Gerhard,
for now, it is possible only with the Mac Blender integrated plugin:

Are you having problems after switching to Sierra?

@bepeg4d: Hmm, this is a problem. This should be changed!

I am actual using an eGPU, but the installing script is discontinued. So in Future I can not use the eGPU:

And this is a huge problem, because I can not use the internal GPU too. If I do so, my Mac gets kernel panics:

If Octane does not change this, I can not use Octane in the future. So I have to change to an other rendering software. :-(
