I would go for the first any sec!
Black is black etc, the second is to greyish, perhaps my monitor.

The first one, it looks more "friendly", more sunny, colors are more intensive,...

Nice pictures.

A friend of mine who is photographer, told me that he selected his digital photos putting all together on the PCwindow and without much resolution getting the one that springs up between the rest. It works for me.

ok ... the first image is pathtracing version.....
i have a final image with 1920x1200 16000samples ..in 4 hour!!!!!

but the result is good

so, i am also finish to learn for this scene....
the light control is very difficult.. :-)
