Nice one. Isn't it tedious modeling all the little electronics parts? Is there some sort of special way of doing that? Just curious.

I'm sure that using an array modifier would help substantially. I don't think it would be too bad. Nice job.

most stuff is just low poly mesh and yes a lot of array modifiers.
maybe i add some lattice modifiers to get some random in the arrays later.

yes i really love the 580! its ultra fast plus silent.
thank you guys!
the only thing: now i need more ram for the voxelization;)
while voxelize ~16mio tris -ram usage raise above 18gb.

got to try the 2.45 now..

Cant wait till you suss out the multi gpu, will be able to use all four of these 3gb cards...
Waited out with the four 480's for about six months longer for this reason...
Hope we see it someday...

Use the pic for the pcb to create some bump or normal mapping. Looks very flat otherwise very good...

Kinda like you see here, print on pcb rises a little..
