Hi Guys,

I know there are a couple of threads on this now, but I want to know what you think about upgrading the system now.
Should I wait for the release of kaby lake (what maybe causes a price drop of the older ones?!) or go for it now?
I mainly do motion graphics work in AE (whole CC suite) and C4D.

My current system is pretty old, like so1366 old :P
Asus rampage II extreme
PSU Thermaltake 750W
i7-920
6GB DDR3 1333
GTX 1070
1 EVO850 (250GB)
1 OCZ (960GB)
1 HDD (1TB)

I thought about something. like this:
1 Corsair Air 540
1 ASUS X99-S (maybe another one?!)
1 Intel Core i7-6800K
1 Cryorig A80 (idk. if I really need water cooling though...)
1 Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB, DDR4-2400 (I might get more/faster ones because I want to get into houdini)
+ take the hard drives + gtx from my old system
+ get some more GPUs next year

I'm curious what you guys think about this!
Tell me! :ugeek:

Can anyone recommend a decent 4-way gpu board?

If anyone is interested, that's what I went with:

Corsair Carbide Air 540
Corsair AX860i
Asus X99-E WS/USB 3.1
6850K
Corsair Hydro H100i v2
64GB RAM Ballistix Sport
1x Palit GTX 1070 (second one is ordered =P)

I'll keep you updated with benchmarks and stuff ;)
