Network rendering works

Hi OTOY,

I'm having some problems with using the Octane Render 3.03.3-R1 C4D plugin when (local) network rendering.

When I use the standalone version, I can see my collegues computer instantly and I can use his gpu. However, in the plugin I can't see him. (with him using the slave daemon)

We also tried to use my computer as a slave. Strangly enough, that works flawlessly!!

So that's sweet, but I also want to use his gpu in C4D. Any suggestions what I could try?

Note: I'm on windows 10, he is on windows 7.
We are both running octane standalone 3.03.3 and c4d plugin 3.03.3-R1

using network port 48000

My advice:
update to at least 3.03.4-R4(optional but better)
check your antivirus to don't block C4D

Make sure that the automatic port selection is enable in the net render settings dialog. If that doesn't help, check your firewall settings or (as a test) disable the firewall. If it works with the disabled firewall, you probably didn't give permissions to the plugin/C4D to access the local network.

Thanks! We'll try disabling the firewall en see if it works. If it doesn't work we'll try upgrading to the newest version.
