how to reproduce the C4D material in octane render ?

HiI try to reproduce this tuto with a vertex map in luminescence channel of a c4d .
How can I do it with an octane material?

As far as I can understand from the video you've posted, what you like is, to read vertex map data, which is not possible in octane.
Sadly octane can't read/use point attributes.

But you can convert vertex map into bw texture and use it in any octane material node, look at this fast example:

Hi bertritude,
In general, if you bake your shader, you can use it in any Octane material, could you be more specific about what effect are you looking for, maybe with a screenshot or an example scene?
