OctaneBench Score

How do you score OctaneBench difference then?

1080 Vs Maxwell Titan X 1080 test, the difference was 10%.

Compared to the CUDA cores and Clock .... it had expected a 25% difference.

It is premature?

Hi,

build supporting Pacal card is still experimental due to early CUDA support that is not yet matured enough. OTOY devs are working on new release & hopefully we'll see speed bump.

Overall TitanX was OctaneBenched on "tweaked/hacked" OIctaneBench scoring ~160.

Maxwell based TitanX scores 125 in terms of OctaneBench & has 7Tflops of SP, while Pascal based 11Tflops. If optimisations would work as expected & devs would manage to squeeze all performance we should be looking to about 60% more performance compared to old TitanX.

However how that is going to end up we'll see after some time (with new builds comming).
