Hi..

Since a few days ago I've been having problems with my licenses and it's ANNOYING!! i have max16 with 2.0 1.9 installed (and this is what i use the most) and i also have max17 with 3.0 - 4.17.

every now and then licenses get de-activated, either on max16 or on max17..this didnt happen before when i had max16 only, why??

also before i could use octane even if i was offline, now it seems i have to be online for the license to be active and i can use it.. how can Avoid this??

Hi nildoe,
v3 authentication system is completely different compared with v2, working in a different way. The new system was introduced to remove the one hour waiting period and the needing of inserting different id and pw for each license.
With v3, you only need to close the standalone or plugin to free up the license, but with v2 this doesn't happen and you have to sign-out from both standalone and plugin.
With v3 is also possible to set the license as off-line, but you have to be online for exit the off-line state or for any change you have to made. If you are continuing to jump from v2 to v3, the v3 off line mode is not an option for now, I guess.
