V3 weird shading (no hard edges)

Anyone else having shading issues with v3 in blender?

I am used to using Octane for Modo, so maybe I am doing something wrong, but Octane V3 does not render sharp edges, or shade objects correctly.

I should add the hard edges kind of work, but the shading is just broken compared to cycles, or what is seen in the viewport.

OK, so to get the shading I am expecting, I have to add an edge split modifier to the mesh and set it to hard edges. So I guess that Octance doesn't use hard edges, that is a shame. I hope that can be fixed. Thea render was able to render my meshes with correct shading so it should be possible.
