increase the diffuse light?

hi
i use the plugin for sketchup (and 3ds max) - but i guess this is the same for the standalone.
i wonder if it's somehow possible to increase the diffuse light in a render? (making shadows brighter)
i can change the exposure, but this changes the whole image.

Hi Jorgensen,
it depends from the kind of illumination.
With Physical Sky, you can make the Sky Color more brighter. Another way is to add big emitter planes as fill light. You can also slightly increase the Gamma to reduce the contrast.

hi beppe
i guess that the challenge is that octane renders as a camera would do - so making these twits is not that easy.
i tried what your suggested except adding emitter planes. is seems that changing the from blue to white does not effect the shadows that much, but more the direct light.
i think that increase the exposure might be the best solution for now, as gamma adjust seems to some 'flatten' the image.
or a kind of hdmi might be a way to go? render to images and combine them?
thanks
