I just bought the beta license, but I don't want to buy the gtx285/2gb but instead
maybe the gts250/1gb because I think the gtx is overpriced, obsolete and
noisy. How much can be done with 1GB ... ???

BTW does anybody know whether CS5 will have support for the gts250?
I heard the gtx285 will be supported ...

You can do quite a bit with 1 gb. Most of the users posting images here are using 1 gb cards or under.

I personally use a 8800gt with only 512 of ram. I am kinda waiting to pick up a new card until after the gtx470/480 come out next month. Nvidia is supposed to make an announcement on mon., though no one is exactly sure as to what they'll be announcing. Many think it is release dates for the gtx470/480 cards. My point is that the gt200 cards should drop in price a little once those come out, so it might be worth holding off a little.
