star animation with a lot of flicker

Hallo,
I get heavy flickering when I render a star field with x-Particles (but also with other methods like Octane scatter...)
I used a material with light emission (no illumination) and some random color..
Tried everything even black stars (without emission) on a white background and inverting the result..
even just some white planes with stars in the opacity channel..
Tried a lot of different render settings...
Always getting flicker in the animation... also with very high samples (and massive render times)
Doing the same with x-particles and the Standard renderer gives no issues at all and is very fast...
Is this a typical Octane thing?
Andreas.
