Hello, I'm evaluating Octane Render for our animation work. In the "features" page (1.X), there's written that Octane will support the realistic camera, is this the "angular camera" of Yafaray:

Or another kind of camera?
Thanks for your time.

Hi,
It is on our todo feature list, but currently not available yet.
Octane currently has a perspective camera model, with a thin lens model for DOF, anaglyphic stereo rendering and lens shift controls for architectural perspective correction and tiled rendering.

Thanks, I now that it's not ready yet. My question was "it will be implemented that way?" or with a different mapping? Maybe similar to Luxrender?

It's the camera model that uses raytracing through pieces of glass, assembled in a configuration file, so it models a lens completely.
This sis a feature that requires a few foundations we are currently working on, so it is not scheduled to be implemented straight away...
