Render Layer problem

Hi guys,

already found some threads on this topic, but the answers there either didn't help me or there were none.

I have some problems catching the shadows of an object using the render layer system. Instead of a shadow
on a transparent plane I get something like a halftransparten plane with a lot less intensive shadow.

I'm using a HDRi lit scene.

Please have a look on a simple setup, this occurs on all of my scene tho:

What it's supposed to look like:

Sorry for the big pictures, had to create this thread rather fast, will upload smaller later.

Can anyone help?

Thank you!

I'm thinking it's something to do with your mapping and tone mapping things.

Can you post an image of your render settings (Ctrl/CMD+B) and camera imager settings?

I'm using basic settings except for the samples, alpha channel turned on and a removed environment.

Edit:
It also does this if I open a fresh document with default settings except for enabled render layer and alpha channel.
I get the same result if I just use a matte material instead.
