Hello everyone,
I have an issue with a simple picture of a half sphere.
There is a black area bordering not rendered orange.
Why?

The same pb.
the mapping are indentations on the 3 oranges.
Faces when everything is ok, but no good when the side was a gray area.
Note : Rendering with pathtracing
I don't understand why....
Anyone a idea ?

Sorry, but I don't know, what's going on here. On a first glance it looks like a normal problem (i.e. make sure that all normals point outward). It could also be some kind of self-shadowing effect. How big is your scene, what's your ray epsilon? It dependent on the viewing angle? Maybe you can post a simple test scene that shows this problem.
Cheers,
Marcus

Thanks for your post,
It's always hard to see the details without the worries of the file or issue.
after many tests,
I think that my uvmap is wrong !
Thank's a lot.
