Plans for vertex colour support?

Hey,

I was just wondering if anyone has heard plans about Octane supporting vertex colour at some point?

We render our game trailers in Octane using game assets and often they contain a lot of vertex colour maps. It would be wonderful if we didnt have the huge amount of time it takes to bake all of those maps to texture.

We can but hope. :p

Support of vertex or primitive attributes is a planned feature once we have the OSL support in place. OSL should make possible build the needed shaders to use them.

Hey Juanjo, is OSL coming in 3.1?.. and are there any plans for Development Build Releases of 3.1.. and if so, do you know if those 3.1 betas are coming soon?
