Hello,

I have a pc with a few titans and a mac pro with AMD FirePro D700.
Can I use C4D and Octane on the mac and render using only the gpu's from the pc? Or does the mac have to have at least one useful GPU?

If possible, can someone point me to some info how to set this up.

not possible, for now, unless you are using Blender, have a look at this post:

or you can have a look at an e-gpu solution for temporally have an nvidia card on the Mac via Thundrbolt port:
