Hi guys,

Im trying to get 7 cards running on my PC.. not sure if that is possible or not.

Im running an Asuss x99-a (4pci-e 16x)
Intel i7- 5820k

Ive got 5 gtx 980's cards running right now. 3 on the mother board and 2 more on an Amfeltec cluster ( http://amfeltec.com/products/gpu-orient ... d-cluster/ )

16gb ram and planing to expand to 64

But as soon as I go for the 6th and 7th card on the cluster, my machine wont run....

Anyone has any idea how I can get it working? does this have to do with the pci-e lanes of my cpu limiation of 28?

Best of luck. After a heck of a lot of trial and error, I gave up and split my GPUs between two computers. It just gets so very fragile. Give yourself a week or two just for troubleshooting.
