I may be stupid, but I can't delete unused Nodes in the Octane Nodes Editor

Can somebody tell me how to do that? I'm using Cinema 4d R17 for Mac.

Select and delete by DEL key or menu.

and there isn't any delete option in the menu or even a right click option available...
