Hey guys, I cant for the life of me get rid of these white dots in my scene, What is causing them and how do I get rid of them?

I guess that the trunk material doesn't have enough roughness and reacts like if it is wet, the DOF effect exaggerates it even more.
Before correcting the roughness, try with setting the Aperture edge value at 3 in the thin-lens camera settings, you should see an interesting effect

As Beppe says, this is probably an issue with the material. Pls see the link in my signature for how to resolve this (ie. reducing GI Clamp and increasing Caustic Blur).

Yep had to do with the material, I was playing with settings and not even thinking that it could of been that.
