Hi..

sorry for this but I got really fed up today.
I wrote you guys a mail early in the morning and got no reply until now.

I had to switch back to my laptop for working on the weekend and went back to my main PC today and I simply can not activate the license anymore.

I dont know what to do anymore,... I have projects running, clients waiting and I already lost a day work.

I am of course using latest Octane and it worked perfectly lately. Only after switching back to laptop and back again I activate the license again. Why so complicated?? :/

Well well not a rare problem you got here. Licensing system makes me go crazy as well.
Oh wait, I ain't using Octane anymore, so I just press "Exit" every time :p

Hi, do you may have forgot to deactivate on our laptop?
It is possible to deactivate over webpage login, not forum login but only 5 times.
Support is only working Newzealand office hours but sometimes also a bit slow.

Hi,

Probably Octane is still open on your laptop or was not closed correctly, so the licenses are still in use on that machine. For what I can see your standalone and C4D licenses are activated on a machine which hostname is KEHRMASCHINE.

The new licensing system releases your license as soon as you close Octane or the plugin's host application, however you may use the failsafe deactivation mechanism to unlock your license remotely in cases like yours, which works the same as the old system used to except for there's a limited number of unlocks and there's no cooldown period.

No worries, glad to see you got it working.

We know this has been a change, and not all users are be happy with it or understand it straight away, but we hope is for good and based in our experience most users are happy as there's no cooldown or explicit deactivation anymore.
