Has someone give me an advice of the difference between Octane Render Standalone and OctaneVR? Actually I am confused by the OctaneVR, it is not a Virtual Reality application. So why Octane release this version? And what's the difference of it with Octane Render

Hi xhm2855,
OctaneVR was a promotional OctaneRender version with free subscription limited in time. The idea was to promote the new OctaneRender capabilities in VR, but mostly to give the opportunity to any artist to participate for free at the Metaverse competition the past year. So OctaneVR had the same features of OctaneRender Standalone, but for free during the contest. The only differences were that it was limited to 2 GPUs and an active internet connection was needed.

Hello Ciao,

Actually we have a request that want to show the rendering window like the 'Cloud Demos'. And we tested the X.IO, but failed to realize it. Maybe we are not understanding the operation of X.IO with WebDav, because our orbx source is provided by WebDav. Have you some experience about it?
Or we can realize the performance just like 'Cloud demos' with Octane standlone?

Thanks,
