Network Rendering Crashing Live Viewer 3.02

Hi Aoktor,
We're having constant crashes using Network Rendering to our Live viewer.
I've noticed a pattern in the crashing. When I move the camera in the scene it won't crash but the moment I move the position of a few objects it will lose the connection to the slave and gives me the beach ball of death in C4D.
We were having some crashes in 2.24 when we toggled on the info in the live viewer and also when we moved some objects around but these were much less frequent then V3.
I've attached a zip containing the system specs, log reports and also the test scene I created which crashes it every time.
Hope you can shed some light on this.
Many Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
sorry for the delayed answer, we can reproduce the issue.
It happens when the Master is a Mac, but we need more time to better investigate and hopefully, to find the solution.
As a workaround, it should be much more stable if you disable all the stats checkboxes in OctaneRender settings/Others, can you confirm?
Thanks for your patience,
ciao beppe

Thanks Beppe, that's great that you can re-create the issue.
I'll test disabling all the stats on our Macs octane plug-in on Monday and tell you how it goes.
Many Thanks,
Chris

Hi Beppe,
I've tested turning off the stats in the options and it is more stable in that we don't get any beach balls but we still lose connection to the slave after short period of time when scaling or moving objects.
Once connection has been lost with the slave if I try and quit C4D or Render to the picture viewer C4D beach balls again.
I can do another log with all stats off it it helps.
Let me know.
Thanks,
Chris

Hi Chris,
I guess that this is a different issue.
In your daemon log, the master address and port is changing:
[07:34:23.378] daemon : start listening for masters on port 48000
[07:42:30.636] daemon : detected new master on address 10.27.95.114:1027
[07:42:30.885] daemon : connected to master 10.27.95.114:1027
[07:42:30.885] daemon : Received scan request from master 10.27.95.114:1025
[07:42:32.260] daemon : Received start request from master 10.27.95.114:1025
[07:42:32.261] daemon : starting octane slave for master 10.27.95.114:1025
[07:42:32.261]
[07:42:32.263] daemon : using free port 48001 to communicate with slave
[07:42:32.426] daemon : slave connection created
[07:42:32.428] daemon : slave connection established
Please, could you double check your network connection first?
Are you using more than one network adapters at one time, eg Airport and Ethernet?
If yes, could you try with the ethernet connection only?

Hi all,
the Mac issue with net rendering and stats has been solved, could you try with the latest 3.03.3-R3 and confirm, thanks?
