Problems with network rendering via Octane and C4D

Hey all.
I am running C4d 17.048 on 2 computers directly connected via LAN cable (ADHOC), running same version of Octane Standalone and Cinema 4D Octane Plugin. Same OS 10 pro. Team Render is a snap, Running the Daemon comes up sometimes, when I connect it via C4d network rendering it crashes on the Slave saying that I am abusing my license????? uhhh isnt there a 12 GPU limit? I have 3 x 980 ti's and a Titan X on slave, and a 1080 and 960 on WS, 1080 is not being used until compute and cuda update......Can someone explain why the licensing is all screwy and why I cant even run a Daemon service without signing in and abusing my privileges? Do I really need to buy a second license?
