Noisy House

Hi,

I'm working on some images for a house but I'm having trouble with the amount of noise in the images.

The image below is at 64,000 samples and it's still quite noisy in some places. It's straight from Octane - no post-production at all. I had to use daylight because the shadows aren't sharp enough with HDRI. There are quite a few lights on inside, which is what the client wanted.

Any suggestions as to how I can get a cleaner image? And any advice on the image itself in general would be great too.

Thanks,

Rico

I hope you have used the 'hotpixel removal' tool- setting its value to nearly zero (or zero)...
if yes..then try reducing the glossy materials in your scene (at least those which are not visible). i think it might be the floor tiles used in the interiors- behind the glass that is causing these 'fireflies (or caustics)'. Try turning the glossy material to diffuse- it might help (if hotpixel removal tool doesnt)
cheers :)

i think that the problem derive from the spotlights, have you try to make a render with the lights turned off?
the trick could be to use one big poly emitter with low opacity instead of the spotlights for lighting of the rooms
