Hello,

When I try to add Octane displacement to a XpSkinner mesh, the object dissapear on the live viewer.

I tried to export as alembic file, (I even convert the alembic into a single frame editable mesh) displace not working.

With C4D standard material, displacement works as intended.

Why this is happen? Is there a setup to make it work?

Thanks!

Does this object has proper uvw coordinates?

oh! thank you.... my bad... very logic, didn't work on UVW because there is mesh is generating every frame... I change the projection type, now works perfect!

I have another question, don't know if open new thread.

Is turbulence node not compatible with displacement node? Every time I tried nothing happens.

I don't remember without checking it. What's that?

The Displacement node only accepts images at the moment - but you can use C4D shaders (because they're being converted to images in the background).

cheers
