Now that I am using 3.0 I am unable to find a "priority setting" that is working properly and not causing lag to the system.
any hints on why this is happening.

Aoktar, would you please mind explaining a bit more the a hint at the features page of 3.0? I have read the features page and the understand to an extent that the parallel samples will have what seems like a similar effect to priority in the settings of the C4D plugin. Can you us know how the priority settings are now effecting things outside of what ever you were trying to "hint" at in 3.0 plugin?
I do not have a very deep understanding of what is going on behind the scenes and have had great success with having good desktop performance up until now.
Thanks.

Aoktar could you comment on if anything has changed in regards to the "use priority" in settings? It seems to have a much smaller effect then it used to. Messing with the Parallel samples didn't seem to free it from being bogged down. I can only get good performance when I completely disable the desktop GPU, which works so i'm more or less happy there, but would be great to maintain a percentage of that card with the live viewer. Is this what everyone is doing now in 3.0?

Hi zackyd,
I have tried to reproduce your issue in one of my system but without finding a way of having lag...
could you be more specific about your hardware and software configuration?
Like motherboard, GPUs, PCI speed, monitors, RAM, os and so on, thanks,
