Changing Patterned Material Scale/Repetitions?

I want to change the scale of the Octane brick 2 material bump image so it matches another wall in a scene. I loaded the brick 2 material onto a plane but it's smaller than the same brick 2 texture on the wall next to it. I've looked in the NGE and there are no controls for increasing the scale of the texture. How do I do it? When it comes to patterned materials it would be great if they loaded with controls for scale and repetitions. Using latest v3 of the plugin in DAZ 4.9.

Not using the NGE (ie. using the normal material editor), click the "UV transform/2D transformation" area and change the scale X & Y.

Thanks I never thought to click on that.

Ok I'm back for more help. Now that I've found the UV transform controls I really can't figure out how to use them. They seem a lot more complicated than version 1.

Say for example I load a tile material onto a floor. The tile squares are huge and I want to reduce them to floor tile size what controls do I adjust in UV transform?

Second example, I load a decorative plaster material onto a wall. The grain of the material is too large. What UV transform controls do I adjust?

There are a number of different UV transform controls depending on the material. Do I need to adjust them all or just the Specular/Greyscale image UV transform controls? The UV transform has XYZ, ZYX, YZX etc. etc. Which one do I adjust?

I've tried adjusting various UV transform controls but I'm really playing around in the dark. If there's a tutorial on this that would really help.

Without a screenshot of the problem you are having, I am guessing here. But you adjust the Scale X and Scale Y of all texturemaps for the material.

I must be using a different plugin to you because when I load the Octane material, 'Parquet', onto a floor plane, for example, instead of 'UV transform/ 2D transformation' there is 'UV transform/Transform value'. When I open this there are six sliders. Two are called 'UV transform (-360/360)'; the next two are, 'UV transform (0.001/1000)'; and the last two are UV transform (-1000/1000). There is no indication as to what they change and none of them appear to work like those settings in the image you posted which was how they used to appear in v1.

Every single tiled Octane material seems to have these settings rather than the ones in your image.

EDIT: After opening the 'Parquet' material in the NGE I think I've realized what's happening. When the plugin loads the material is defaults to 3D UV transform instead of 2D UV transform. I don't know why it's doing this or whether this is caused by the scene I'm working on but the only solution seems to be to change the UV transform to 2D in the NGE. I'm not sure why a floor tile or a carpet material would default to 3D transform?

I tested this by opening a new scene, loaded a plane and added the Octane parquet material and the same problem occurs. For some reason the material loads with the generic setting of 'UV transform/Transform value' which is really the 3D setting instead of the 2D setting.

The Parquett LiveDb material has a transform as an input, which is probably confusing the plugin. Any normal (ie. non-LiveDb) material should be as per the image I posted above.

EDIT: If you load that LiveDb material into Standalone and compare, you can see the middle two sliders (you listed above) in DAZStudio are for the scale.

Ok, thanks. Regarding the LiveDb materials do they use more resources than the converted DAZ materials?

It depends on the specific LiveDb material and the specific DAZ material.
