octane license not activated

i installed the latest max build and canot use octane now due to a license error.

hi mojave,
under rendering options, account tab, it just says "license deactivated".
this is with the latest build. 3.09 works fine.
someone in rhino section has the same problem.

i would really appreciate some assistance here.
upon installing of the latest build i have received the splasscreen/log in but the account was still deactivated (under render options)
not sure if this is a license problem - havent upgraded yet.
if indeed i should upgrade in order to use the latest builds, some sort of info would be helpful.

Yes, while alpha and beta versions worked with 2.0 licenses; you need a 3.0 standalone and 3DSMAX license to use the new version.

You change it from 'Beta' to 'Test' and now it's worthy of a purchase? Anyone familiar with Octane's lesser supported plugins knows this 'Test' stage could last a very long time. So sick of buying your products thinking you are actually building a company. You need to hire more software engineers or shorten your plugin list. It's bloated.
