Stacking materials

Hi,

So I recently bought Octane, and I'm confused to say the least when it comes to materials.

Yes, I've gone through the classic tutorials on materials etc but neither touch on my problem.

I have a material which is using a bump map that is using a cube projection.
Then I want to add a displacement map on top of that as a UV.

If I add these two in a mixed material they both get projected as UV, instead of one being cubic and the other UV.
How can I work around this?

tnx!

You can assign Octane projections to imagetextures.

Thanks for your quick reply. I'm not getting the result I want, but I probably misunderstand your instructions.

So I've set my mixed material to 'UVW mapping' in the object list. Then the material settings I set my displacement map, which works fine. Then in the mixed material I
change 'Mix material' from 'FloatTexture' to 'ImageTexture' and 'Projection' to 'box'. But nothing really happens. It stays UV mapped.

Never mind. I changed the projection in the node editor and then it worked fine. Great! I can finally move on :)
