Activation Expired?

I'm getting an error when I start Daz Studio,

OctaneLive Error

The alpha/beta period has expired. Please update to a newer version.

I have no idea what is going on, I don't know what is happening. There was no warning.

Does this mean I need to buy the upgrade to 3, and why? I paid for 2.

This is probably due to that the grace period for the alpha you are using has expired.

Alpha/Beta versions after Alpha 8 have a extended grace period until the end of this month so you may download a newer one and keep using it until then.

Best.

If you are having an issue, can you pls provide the information requested at viewtopic.php?f=44&t=51808.

I updated... but I was not happy to be forced to do so. Forced tool updates can come with a host of issues. In this case its fine, only the latest rev 3 beta is slower to start renders. Meh.

This should not be the case. Can you provide the info I requested above, and a time comparison of the load time verses the previous version you were running?

:-) Ah... no. I don't want to uninstall.. reinstall... test measure, uninstall... and reinstall.
