strange render Failure

Hi,
with V3 Beta2 I get more and more render errors last days.
And the VRam info in lv shows strange results
6.000 (total) - 4.033 (used) = 0 (free) ????
Also texture manager says 185MB used.
Tris-Limit does not exist anymore in V3 (actual 6 Mio Polys in the scene)
Is that a already known problem with V3 Beta2?
Do I have to change any settings for V3?

Texture manager is a implementation and calculation done by plugin. So that's not exact. We can't know how much memory exactly spent to textures in Renderer.
Also V3 is not unlimited on triangles. It's still limited by VRAM. Don't you use out-of-core? And i don't know why 2gb vram is lost. Best to ask to Otoy guys.

Hi,
yes I'm running Win 10 64bit for a longer time now, but I
haven't noticed until now, that so much VRam gets lost.
Haven't seen this post before. Thanks! So I now know, thats a problem with Win 10.
But there seams no solution now to get this fixed.

It's funny that you post this because I've been running into the exact same issue within the last day. I rendered out a 4K scene no problem. And then I went to render it out again in passes and I got the same error. I made no changes to the scene so there's no reason that it would stop working suddenly. When I render to the picture viewer, it either fails or it just renders a black frame. It shows up fine in the Live Viewport. Just problems with the picture viewer for whatever reason.

yes.
With all my 6GB Cards in the network I never run out of VRam - normally.
Mostly the triangles limit stopped me.
But all the extra passes are taking lots of VRam and I did not recognize the
lost of over 1 GB with Win 10 before.
Too late (also too much work) to go back to Win7
I hope, that there will be a fix from Win 10 side soon.
